Does it seem like you are spending most of your weekend chasing the water hose? Do you literally pass
out when you see your water bill? Do your plants die despite all the work and effort put into them? Join
Linda Cowles, Executive Director of Keep Pearland Beautiful and get the low down on cost effective methods
of fertilizing your garden, lowering your water bill and learn the basics and benefits of composting. The
class is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 9AM to 11:00AM at the Westside Events Center.
The Center is located at 2150 Country Place Parkway.
For only $20, each participant will receive a Soil
Maker compost bin ($80 retail value) and informative literature and handouts. Please bring compost bin
fee to class.
Registration for the class will start August 9, 2008 through the Pearland Parks and Recreation
